fishing license cost starting at:
Pennsylvania is an anglers' dream. Highly affordable for state residents, the fishing licenses for non-residents are also easily affordable and offer a wide variety of fishing opportunities.
While trout and salmon are more heavily regulated than other fish in the state, there are still plenty of opportunities to take these especially tasty fish homes.
Anglers aged 16 and up are required to have a license on them at all times while they are fishing or transporting fish. Pennsylvania makes this a little easier by offering an optional license pin and other ways of wearing and displaying your fishing license. These are available to residents and non-residents alike, for a small additional fee on top of the license.
Pennsylvania does require registration of all saltwater anglers who do not have a freshwater license, in addition to any license requirements for the trip. However, freshwater licensed individuals do not require additional licensing.
Seniors, individuals with disabilities, active service military and veterans, may all be eligible for discounted rates depending on their specific circumstances and whether Pennsylvania’s qualifications are met.
